DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
This 1948-D Germany 1 Pfennig was issued during the Allied Occupation period following World War II. Coins from this era represent the early stages of Germany's monetary recovery and are an important part of post-war European numismatic history.
The coin displays light wear consistent with an About Uncirculated (AU) example. Most design details remain sharp with attractive surfaces and original character. Minor contact marks may be present from normal handling, but the overall appearance remains very pleasing for the grade.
