This is an official 1989 Canadian Proof Like (PL) Set issued by the Royal Canadian Mint. The set contains the six Canadian circulating denominations of the period: 1 cent, 5 cents, 10 cents, 25 cents, 50 cents and 1$.
The coins feature the standard Canadian designs of the era, including Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The coins were specially selected and finished for inclusion in the Royal Canadian Mint's Proof Like presentation, offering attractive surfaces and sharp details compared with typical circulation examples.
This set is an excellent collectible for anyone building a date collection of Canadian Proof Like sets or collecting the coinage of the late 1980s and early 1990s. The original Mint packaging provides an attractive presentation for display or long-term storage.
