DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
You are bidding on an original 1912 Canada 10 Cents silver dime, struck under the reign of King George V at the Royal Canadian Mint — one of the first years of his effigy on Canadian coinage.
Graded VG-8 (Very Good): the coin shows even, honest circulation wear. The portrait of King George V is clearly identifiable, with moderate flatness on the high points. The reverse wreath, crown, and denomination remain fully legible.
This coin belongs to the KM#23 series (1912–1919), struck in 92.5% sterling silver — a higher purity than the later 80% issues. Mintage for 1912: 3,236,000.
Silver content: ~2.15g of fine silver (92.5% purity, 2.33g total weight).
