Struck in sterling silver (.925 fine silver), this quarter has a standard weight of 5.83 grams and contains approximately 5.39 grams of pure silver, equivalent to about 0.1734 troy oz of silver. The 1913 issue had a circulation mintage of 2,213,595 pieces.
