This 1953 Canadian silver dollar is a popular key variety known as "NSF" (No Shoulder Fold), where the shoulder fold on Queen Elizabeth II's portrait is missing, distinguishing it from the "Shoulder Fold" (SF) variety that came later. The coin is composed of 80% silver and weighs approximately 23.33 grams. It displays noticeable signs of circulation including even wear on the obverse and reverse, light rim marks, and toned fields. Despite circulation, all major design details remain legible, including the voyageur and canoe design on the reverse. A must-have variety for serious Canadian dollar collectors.
