DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
The 1924 nickel continues with the pure-nickel composition and shows typical circulation wear. King George V’s portrait is worn at the high points, with the horn of the diadem and cheek flattened. The reverse maple leaf cluster has light flattening on the leaves’ tips, though the date and “CANADA” remain sharp. A few old contact marks scatter around the fields, and subtle gray toning enhances visual appeal. As a middle-year issue of this pure-nickel series, it offers collectors a consistent look at Canada’s coinage evolution and fits neatly into any circulated type set.
