Browse tokens and medals, including historic Canadian trade and bank tokens, trade dollars, commemorative medals and other numismatic curiosities. Many pieces were issued locally by banks, businesses or communities, so each listing describes the issuer, date, metal and condition.
Tokens were issued by banks, merchants and communities, often as local currency or promotions, while medals commemorate people, places and events. Condition and the story behind the piece drive interest, and many are not widely catalogued, so photos and descriptions matter. Handle by the edges and never clean a piece.
